Hey, how you doing folks? My name is Janis Plotnieks, kinda not typical name for America, huh? That's because I'm not ! This year I'm a foreign exchange student in this school, although, I don't consider myself foreigner anymore, I've been too "americanized". :) I have lots of hobbies, but mostly I'm a big sports & physical activity fun. I've been playing basketball and swimming for all my life. This year I played volleyball and basketball for the school and I'm looking forward to do the same next year, maybe will try to swim too. You're asking me what do I mean with next year? I'm staying and gonna be KHS senior next, I'm really excited !Ok, I gotta go, still a lot of homework to do, "thank you" Mrs. Szymczak :D jk Oh yeah, one more thing, I'd never ever ever imagined that one single thing such as accent can make your life so much easier and more interesting..
I gues my favorite piece of writing was Extended Metaphor Poem, because I could've write anything that I wanted about my life, interests, and people around me, only in more interesting way - metaphor.
